Consequently, you cannot change what you have agreed to without the possibility of incurring substantial additional costs and delays. Very importantly, if you decide to cancel your project at any time after accepting our estimate then unless we are in breach of contract we have the right to retain all or part of your deposit as a contribution towards any losses or costs we suffer as a result of your cancellation.

It is your responsibility to provide safe, adequate, and proximate access for the delivery personnel and their vehicle.

We will do our best to deliver on the estimated date. However if for any unforeseen reason we cannot, we will agree on a new date with you but we will not be held liable for any cost, direct or consequential you may incur as a result of the delay. Furniture should never be stored or installed in premises that are damp. Sufficient time should be allowed for new building works to dry and return to normal temperature and humidity levels. You should take this into consideration when agreeing on the delivery date because we will not be held liable for any damage caused to the furniture if it is installed or stored in damp conditions.

Installation

You should expect the quality of materials used and the standard of installation to be as that shown in our showrooms. Each project we undertake is unique and therefore the time needed to install furniture varies considerably. Consequently, the timescales provided should be regarded as a guide only. Installing furniture is a complex process. While we will always try to complete the installation as quickly as possible we will not let this compromise the finished product. You should especially note that following the main installation, further visits may be required to complete snagging or remedial items. The installation process will disrupt your routine. You should particularly note that the area in which the furniture is to be installed may be unusable for a period of time. It may also be necessary to have services such as water, gas, and electricity temporarily disconnected. While our installation team will keep the areas in which they are working as tidy as possible you should expect that some dust and mess will be created, to ensure a perfect fit, worktops will be templated only after the main units have been fitted. Please note that it is your responsibility to arrange for any required plumbing and electrical connections. Since this can cause some disruption and untidiness it is advisable that you protect or remove vulnerable items. The time is taken between templating and the delivery and installation of the worktops can range from one to three weeks and maybe longer if your selected material is in limited supply. If you decide to change or cancel the agreed arrangements for installation you will be liable for any additional costs we incur.

Specialist Painting

If the furniture is to be painted in situ it will have been delivered with primer coats already applied. In order to achieve optimum results, the painting will commence only after the main installation has been completed and the environment is clean and dust-free. The time taken to complete painting the furniture will completely depend on the size of the project and the complexity of the finish required.

Prices and Payment

We will work with you to produce a scheme that meets your requirements that will be detailed in our final estimate.

On your signed acceptance of the above, you will need to pay a 50% deposit. Following that, we will agree on the delivery date and supply you with plans, elevations, and specifications. We will also arrange for a preproduction survey to be done and for M&E recommendations to be drawn up and sent to you. The balance of the project value will be payable 2 weeks / 10 days before the agreed delivery date even if you postpone the delivery date.
