In this light and airy Chelsea apartment, the brief for the space was industrial, we had a fantastic amount of height and light to work with. In addition, the kitchen had amazing views. All these attributes gave us a brilliant opportunity to create a truly bespoke and unique industrial style kitchen and secondly a kitchen that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. For this design, I went for a metallic steel exterior and a dark grey interior. Walnut details added a touch of warmth while the rest of the cabinetry was surrounded by a custom mild steel exoskeleton. Concrete work surfaces coupled with floating steel shelving with leather linings, an overhead pot, pan storage, and a reeded glass mid-height storage cabinet with book storage completed the scheme and a kitchen that looked and functioned effortlessly.
