SOHO PENTHOUSE
The interesting thing about this highly desirable Soho-based penthouse was the challenge of working with a truly open-plan design. Such an expansive space requires a bespoke approach when it comes to function as well as form, which is why we focused on the all-important fine details. Integrated air conditioning was added for enhanced comfort, while the island was extended and made to match the existing structure. Handle-less drawer details were added to keep things minimalist yet functional in a way that was in keeping with the existing design. The highlight of the project was the bespoke oak lime limestone grey veneer 4 m long bookcase. This serves as the focal point in the apartment and so required careful attention to detail at every stage. A full media suite was seamlessly integrated, as was air conditioning to provide extra comfort in the lounge area. The result was a light and vibrant open-plan design that still offered designated spaces to be enjoyed throughout the day.
