The brief for Kensal Rise House was to deliver a number of bespoke pieces of furniture for use by the whole family. To get the theme working across the home, we first took in the shape and light levels of each individual room. The kids’ classic wardrobe was one of our personal highlights, as were the bespoke oak drawers and their contemporary finishing. A walnut burr bespoke bathroom was added to create a luxuriously functional space that made use of natural contrasts. Elsewhere in the home, you’ll find walnut deco-style mirrored wardrobes and matching glass drawer fronts. Our idea here was to open up the use of space by providing striking visuals that invite you to come and take a closer look. To complete the picture, a black oak study with a leather inlaid desktop was created to tie the interiors together.
